When first married, my wife bought a Fuji Bedford, 26", 3speed. It's still in perfect condition. I'd like to pin down the build date better; I think she got it in 1986, but we could be off.

Also, I read that Fuji began building in Taiwan by the early 1990's. So far I cannot find the serial number or any marking where it was built. Where the cable goes into the rear hub gear changer, the changer stem is stamped, "Japan." I'd like to know if it was all built in Japan.
