I never liked the positioning of the campy thumb shifter. it requires your hand to be high up on the drops if you wanna shift compared to being able to stay lower in the curve of the drops with sram and shimano.
I do like the new curve design of the campy shifters tho, they feel very nice when braking on the hoods.
i guess i could understand that. i can easily hit the lever from the flat part of my ergo drops and have never had any problems otherwise. God did bless me with some pretty big paws though...
i actually knew a female racer that really wanted campy levers but she couldn't as her right thumb was cut off. she had a good sense of humor about it.
