It was fun, fast and a great time on a bike. That much I know.
This is the reason why you should ditch the Garmin and not use any kind of speed/distance measuring device. It's amazing how all my 40 mile rides at 20 mph average turned into 28 mile rides at 14 mph the moment I got my first Avocet 40 - on the same roads, too.

The same theory applies to fishing. Hence the story of the guy who hauls in a 20 inch fish and tells his buddy about it. The buddy asks if the guy carried a tape measure and used it. The first guys says he did. The buddy says: What'd'ya do that for? If you hadn't brought the tape measure, it would have been at least t two-footer."

As for me, all I know is that you went faster than my built-in "chicken meter" lets me go.
