I have an Selle SMP Pro on my Waterford and it's the best saddle I've ever owned for long distance touring. I bought it after getting open sores on both my sit bones on a 107 mile day ride in June using a Selle Italia SLR Gel Flow saddle. The SMP Pro is wide enough for my sit bones, it has just the right amount of foam elastomer padding for my 67 year-old butt, and the center cutout in the perineum area has eliminated numbness.

I'm a big fan, but YMMV.
