Oil or WD-40 will stop the squeak.

Good to know about the grips, since I fix lots of bikes.

Glad to see the reports on the computers are mostly favorable. I bought one of the wired Schwinns from Amazon but haven't unwrapped it yet. It's handsome.

Most cheap floor pumps are fine, not hand pumps. The one I saw at Target had a head that accepted both types of valves.

But I really want a gauge in mine. I keep one floor pump in my car and one in my basement bike shop. Both have gauges and go over 100 psi easily. They are the expensive, bike-shop type.

I bought a 27" tire at Walmart. I put it on a bike I sold. It was heavy, and I can't tell you how it rode. Slowly, perhaps. No strong opinion on it, but I don't think I would ride one myself. Price was $10 or $15.

I don't have a Walmart near me, which suits me fine. I see Target as a far less evil company.
