Thanks Brad, yeah it's a really sharp bike. Resale value or name brand doesn't matter to me so much as having a bike I can tear down lakeshore or other open stretches of road on. I think this'll suit my needs very nicely. Plan on having pictures tonight with any luck.
In other news, my girlfriend's 14 year old neglect-a-bike finally refused to shift entirely and we popped into bike pirates. Really really happy with the service there and was also able to snag a used set of Time ATACs for 15 bucks, which even after a donation on top of that price I paid 30 bucks for pedals that match my fixed gear to go on the new bike. Since they last forever the fact that they're all beaten up isn't of much concern to me. Any suggestions on how to take off the ugly red paint so the entire thing is just brushed aluminum? Dremel with a wire brush maybe?
