I have 2 sets of K Force compact bars. I also have Bontrager bars on a 3rd bike. All are 42cm. When going from the Bontrager bars immediately to the FSA and back, the width difference is noticeable. However, on the road, not so much. I do feel a bit more comfortable climbing with the slightly wider bar on the hoods. However, everything else is much better with the FSA compacts. I will eventually replace the Bontrager bars with some version of FSA compact in the future.
