That's not how you deal with a puncture when you're riding tubulars. You pull off the bad tire, stick on the new one and you're on your way. Much quicker than roadside patching and even quicker than replacing a tube on a clincher. When you replace the flat do you use glue or Tufo tape? Is there any chance of rolling the tire off since the glue is fresh?
