From what I gather, they're just a cheaper alternative to Velocity Deep V's (tessa) and B43's (julian). I have Tessa wheels on my bike (it's an entire eighthinch build - frame, cranks, wheels) and they've been great so far. I don't really do tricks or jumps or any of that stuff, so I can't comment on their resiliency in that sense... but for riding, they've been rock solid.
