90kph is 55mph.... they are talking about a group sprint
Ciolek? Cav must be the Englishman.
90kph is 25meters per second, so he'd be sprinting 12 seconds to cover 300 meters. Also, 90kph is about 148rpm in the 53x11. He has to be spinning that behind his leadout and then hold it in the wind for 12 seconds. Awesome stuff.
To the OP: for that road, I think 57mph is unlikely. High-forties there is crazy fast, though, so you shouldn't feel disappointed.
