Reading that has left me weeping. I was hit from behind last July. This reinforces how chance decides our fate. Somehow I survived with serious but none life-threatening injuries.

Though my life and my family's was seriously impacted by the care I've needed the last six months, I can only imagine the grief this incident has unleashed. My heart goes out to the survivors.

Meanwhile, over at Facebook, a "group" that celebrates and even encourages such mayhem goes on uninterrupted by FB owners who claim it doesn't contravene their guidelines.
