One "good" thing (relatively speaking) is that the police caught the driver very quickly, and it sounds like there will be a very solid case against him: there were witnesses, no time for the driver to tamper with the evidence, etc. It will be interesting to hear if the driver was under the influence of anything at the time.

Thanks, I appreciate your concern. Its been a bit of a delayed reaction, but its starting to get to me. I keep on telling myself, "buck up you ninny, someone's dead and you are all worried about how you feel? Thats selfish." And I've seen extremely gory accidents, one worse than this one, but this one really hits home because he was a cyclist just a few hundred yards ahead of me. But like you said, talking about it really helps.
