Perhaps if more people understood that they are risking much more than a "simple" DUI when the choose to drink and drive, fewer people would do it.
He's 28, he should know better but I understand what you are saying, many people think it's only their life they will screw up and not someone else's

I wish him nothing but the worst, it wasn't just an accident, he fled the scene with the man's bike stuck to his car.
