Thanks for the good advice. He wanted $650 originally. Within 3 minutes of test riding it, something snapped in the rear shifter and rendered shifting inoperable. Even with that, he still only came down to $600!!! Admittedly, the frame and upgraded Mavic wheels were very nice (assuming there was no internal or hidden stressing or damage), the 10-year-old-since-upgraded Ultegra parts looked beat up. Glad I walked away (but then again, he made it easy).
