That's cool. My first reaction to that was to just get tires with reflective trim, but the fact is probably that there aren't nearly as many such tires available, and the rims are larger surfaces to reflect light and a more lasting part of the bike. I hope both reflective rims and trims on tires become popular options available in all sizes and types.
