road saddle and 700 x 28c high pressure tires. I'm very happy with . My Specialized Armadillo All-Condition tires (the smooth ones) even at MAX pressure they are comfortable. I swapped my bars for drops and that helped as well.
I think I will keep the flat bar, I think with Bar ends and the Aero bars I have a lot of options for positioning. If it goes well I would rather buy a different bike perhaps rather than change out to drops. I will have to see
