Bikes: '06 Kona Smoke

Alarm is set for 0400 (doesn't mean that we actually get up, though). Out the door before 0500. Wife's shift starts at 0600, mine as soon as I can get there- usually by 0645 (unless there is no work to be done). That's being dropped off at one bus station, then taking two buses to get to work.

I had to walk from the closest point in my wife's commute to my work on MLK day; local transit was on reduced schedule. The usual 2 bus method wouldn't have gotten me to work until at least 0900. So I walked the 5 or so miles in under 2 hours. Figure once it gets light enough (or I get a light bright enough), I can do that same route by bike and be able to pick up some extra time through the week.

If I were to ride the entire distance to work and back, I'd be looking at 50-55 r/t.
