The trail head that Neal is talking about is Kilarney Station (his directions are spot on). You can also go north from the trail head around the east side of Lake Appopka if you want to avoid the hills. It goes for about 20+ miles I believe. At about mile marker 13 there is a beautiful Baddest Temple at a trail head. Down town Winter Garden is very nice, the trail runs right down the center of the main street. If you go that way stop at the French bakery, good place to eat. Also the BBQ restaurant next door is good.
