Works great, spray it down with a hose to get the heavy stuff off, spray Simple Green over the cassette and chain, rub with a soft brush to get into the cracks, then spray off with a hose, dry with a micro-fiber........done.
I just did mine yesterday. I actually spray the entire bike down with Simple green but only use the brush on the drive parts, I wipe the rest of the bike with a wet micro-fiber.
Here is mine after yesterdays cleaning. All ready for a 60 mile ride tomorrow.
How often do you open up your hubs and freehub to get the water, simple green and dirt out of them? Even if bearings are "sealed", those seals aren't intended to keep out sprayed water. So unless you intend to change out all those components real often, this probably isn't a good routine to follow.
