You are being asked to participate in a research study being conducted
today only by May Ba-Maung, Scott Blair, Cheng Kuang-You, Robert Garcia, Crystal Neiweem and Jayne Spottswood, students at DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media. We are asking you because we are trying to learn more about the value of mobile applications to bikers and ways that this technology can better serve your needs. This study will take about 10 minutes of your time. If you agree to be in this study, you will be asked to fill out an online survey. The questions will center around your experiences with mobile applications and products you feel can better enhance your biking routines. You can choose not to participate. Data collected will be used for the purposes of a class assignment and will be entirely anonymous. No identifying information will be collected for this study. There will be no negative consequences if you decide not to participate or change your mind later about your participation.
If you have questions about this study, please contact Jayne Spottswood. For further information about the project you can contact professor David Burns at
dburns8@cdm.depaul.edu.
Thanks in advance for your assistance! We can't wait to hear how GPS technology can be improved to make biking even
more enjoyable for everyone. :-)
