A very pleasant ride in... mostly.

It was 38 degrees with no wind. My usual riding partner had a schedule glitch so I rode alone. I decided to take a different route which cut almost a mile off the ride. When I was nearing my office I spotted another commuter just ahead of me and thought maybe he worked the same place I did. I stood up on an uphill to try to catch him and POP went a spoke. I caught up to him, said Hi, he said Hi back, and he went straight while I turned, so he wasn't a coworker after all.

Except for the broken spoke it was a pretty good ride.

I wore a pedometer and it apparently counts pedal strokes. I zeroed it out before leaving and had nearly 4000 steps in when I got to work.
