When I went to UCSB, I only had one incident. A month before graduation, running on fumes financially, I had appropriated the beater bike that my brother had left behind. Two weeks later, the frame came apart and I put it back together with turnbuckles and baling wire I had laying around. Some kind soul there noticed my bike and loosened the turnbuckles and stomped on the frame so it was no longer even true with itself.

I guess the pressure of finals was getting to him.
