first time post enjoyed lurking for a while...reading all these posts makes me feel like a wuss, here in Okinawa, Japan, a cold day is 12c!

Perfect ride in today, I have a 28km ride across the island for my commute this month. Around the bay as the sunrose at 7am, through town and out and over the range of hills to the east side of the island. Pretty tough climb, 7 degree incline but short, up and over 300m climb then mostly downhll to where I work, hit 62km/h on the way down which was as fast as I want to go on my old school steel framer...Perfect skies out there now, 20c, will do a longer loop home, wind at back for most of the way, what's not to like!
