Very carefully with pocket knife. The poor contact is probably the fused section you see. Wedge a knife between the circuit board and the heatsink and you should be able to pry it off. Similarly, my P7 went dim after a year of use. I reseated the board and it's fine for now (I have to re-solder the contacts though).
