They've answered you several times, but you refuse to acknowledge their answers and keep repeating the same question over and over again. This behaviour made you look less than intelligent, and that will always beget name calling... life sucks don't it!
As for yet another answer to your oft-repeated question:
Let's be precise: Helmets, when they remain in position in a collision/fall, are 100% effective at preventing scratches to the covered area of the skull.
And we all know that scratches would "cramp the style" of the eternally anxious crowd who believe cycling is inherently more dangerous than other activities. Oooh aaaaah scratches eeek!
So please, IF you were tell us you wear your helmet for all other activities, like walking, driving a car, going down stairs, skiing, hiking, shoveling, packing, spring cleaning, fixing things in small areas, etc, then we could AT THE VERY LEAST recognise that you are consistent in your ideology, which is a good quality. However if you don't wear a helmet for the other +/- 96% of activities on the head injury causing list, then on top of disagreeing with your interpretation of the bad studies, we see you as inconsistent, which reduces 10-fold the validity of anything you would say.
Personally, I like my scars.
