I started this thread because I was excited about finally opening my own bike shop. I didn't post it for advertising, because...honestly...how many people from my area are on here? I became a member here and THEN, later, I opened a bike shop. I didn't join here to pimp my shop. I haven't even posted a link to my online store that I've started. Why? Because that wouldn't be cool.

I see one of the posts was edited, so no....that isn't my broken Trek. It's from the exploding carbon website, whatever it's called. You'll notice that I've also posted (can't remember if it's here or RBR) in a "Pictures of your Cannondale!" thread with a picture of a cracked Cannondale frame that I own. I have another Cannondale too. I like my Cannondale. But I can laugh at the whole "Crack-N-Fail" thing without getting all pissy and making personal attacks. I don't know why some people take an attack - whether in jest or not - on a brand as an attack on themselves. Are we really that pitiful as a species that we can't even tell the difference between ourselves and a product?

If someone saying "Trek Sucks!" offends you that much, maybe you should explore the reasons for that....
