They are a little different to the biopace, which was not as savageley eliptical and also had the meaty part of the elipse at 90deg to the osyms. The biopace were for weak tourers whereas the osyms look to be for mashing up 20deg inclines.

I would have the meat of the elipse a 60deg so you use more of it as you just start your downstroke, but I don't have $20M worth of marketting hype behind me so I couldn't possibly be right
