Hey all, my girlfriend is looking into getting a new bike, and we're trying to decide between 2 models my LBS sells. One is a 2010 Trek 2.1, and the other is a Specialized Secteur Elite.

The bikes are very comparable in terms of components, and both are Aluminum frames.

Guess I'm looking for opinions from anyone who's ridden either, or both, owns either one, or just general opinions of the newer Trek vs. Specialized bikes. I would think they are probably very similar, and her being a new rider, she probably won't even tell the difference.
