That wheel probably has a 9+sp hub as opposed to 8-sp. 8sp cassettes will fit the older wheels, but the 9/10/11sp cassettes won't. My guess is that it will.

I have 2 sets of '99 Rolf wheels, and currently have a 9sp cassette on one and an 11sp cassette on the other. I also have Campy wheels from '06. They are 8sp, and won't take the newer cassettes.
