Nah, it was missing. Although it does have very nice machining, I'm really not a big fan of the twisted spider look. Seems unnecessarily 'futuristic' looking to me. I'll have to agree with you on the 600 EX star headset, though. A work of art.
Oh, and I replaced my crankset with a 'road' triple, not a 'compact' triple. It's bad enough to be impugned for riding a road triple!
(I've got the compact triple on another bike)
