I am setting up a Sram compact double for the first time and am stuck on the front derailer. Sram says to set it on the smallest rear cog and the small chainring to adjust the indexing. With the left shifter in the middle position, as instructed, I find it impossible to adjust because the chain wants to shift to the large chainwheel. Am I missing something?
