I just had a custom fit done on this bike (a Specialized Hardrock Comp, XXL), and I like how it feels, so I hate to move the seat forward (one mechanic I just spoke to suggested moving the handlebars forward along with the seat to keep the fit).

My favorite saddle is the Body Geometry Comfort Plus, but I don't think it's rails are titanium - does anyone know of a similar saddle that is made from titanium? What is a freeride saddle?

I don't ride over bumps - I seem to be able to trash my bikes by just riding them, so I try to avoid even going off a curb!

The saddle is definitely bending - I took it off the bike and you can see bend in the rails. I'm 6'5", and I weigh 235 (and sometimes I carry heavy bags on my back). My size and weight are part of the challenge I have in trying to find a bike that fits and doesn't fall apart underneath me - most bikes seem designed to be ridden by people of average height and weight.
