Maybe my requirements aren't as high but basically I like and LED light that is bright enough to ride in the dark with. I like it to be small and lightweight and the mount to be well designed. This $20 cateye works for my commute in the dark every morning.

Thats a good light. I use it on my commute on lit city streets. Only gripe is the on/off switch is a bit exposed and often it turns itself on in my backpack.
I also have the cateye uno which is lighter and throws a brighter but narrower spot. Its my backup light on the roadie. Battery lasts for ages.
