Sure wool makes for a good temporary fix, but all that does is clean the rust off. it does not remove the pits that cause the rust in the first place.that's right, you will be having to clean it off again over time. once you take the steel down to the bare metal with glass bead then re-plate it it will not rust again. everything was really, really rusty and seems though the before picture doesnt detail this. of course the alum doesnt rust but we polished it all anyways, because we can.
