I don't see why anyone would get a lightweight alloy clincher rim. If you want lightweight alloy use a tubular, then it will have a brake surface that lasts and doesn't get bent out of shape when you hit a pothole and pinchflat. Clinchers are for training, if you want training wheels they don't need to be light.
