I could lose over 100 grams on _each_ tire alone on my training wheels. 55-75 grams is nothing. Look at any power calculator and see what it works out to. I'll save you the time. It's three-fifths of F-all. At anything over 10mph, the deeper rim will gain enough in aerodynamics to surpass whatever power savings the 75 grams gives you. There's very little reason to go with the shallow rim except for looks.
