Tire =/ part of a wheel.

In addition to weight, crosswinds are another reason why I prefer to ride shallow section wheels on my every day bike. I get blown around enough as it is. I don't need to make things worse.

I do need to read up on how much one can gain from more aero section wheels though. I'm considering some when I get enough spare change to build a new wheelset for my sunny day road bike.
