I thought as much. I've been looking on crazyguy and from what I can gather (not 100% sure) I think Tzuo Hann Law used the stock wheels on his US to Malaysia ride. He had the spokes looked at prior to departure and broke none in nearly 18,000 miles.

Yeah 36 spokes. I'd guess me and the gear would weigh in at about 220lbs
