I rode out today to Kings for some hill repeats. The weather was crappy, and the road was wet but hey beats the trainer. Anyway after the first repeat I was coming down kings taking it very easy, around 20-25. Next thing I know my front tire completely washes out. Somehow I managed to stay up right, regained control, tire got traction again and I was able to get back in to my lane. I thought I was going down for sure. I am convinced my 4000s saved my azz by regaining grip fast. Still it was pretty bad I blew past the double yellow and almost ran off the road. If there was a car going up I would have been a hood ornament.

My best guess I hit one of those elfing tar patches. Anyway thumbs up for Coninental 4000s tires.
