As an alternative to using a CD, why not email it via
transferbigfiles.com? I learned of this site through a contact of BF member Citoyen du Monde. You upload your file (up to 1 GB) and they send the recipient an email with a link in it that kicks off the download. It's useful if a file you want to send is too big to be an email attachment. I sometimes send catalogs to people that way.
