Update: I built this thing on a complete lark. I figured it would get used maybe one or two days every couple of years, because that's about how often we get enough snow for it. Shows how much I know-- in the last couple of months, we've had far more days with snow and ice on the roads than without. This thing has more miles on it over the last couple months than all my other bikes combined, and I'm relieved I made it. I even put the spare hitch for my trailer on it so I can haul stuff around.
Sheesh, what a winter. Another storm comin' Tuesday night....
well perhaps this weather is your fault for building a "snow bike" just in case you need it!
