the oem front brake is a center pull and i initially stated i put some vbrakes on my trek 800 and like the 2 finger braking. the vbrakes have a much better feel than the center pulls. going threadless would require not just the new fork, but head set and stem, might be a cost overrun for me. i also like the position of my current stem and bar setup, so i am not inclined to mess with it.
