Bikes: 2009 Spooky (cracked frame), 2006 Curtlo, 2002 Lemond (current race bike) Zurich, 1987 Serotta Colorado, 1986 Cannondale for commuting, a 1984 Cannondale on loan to my son

I stopped playing organized baseball when I was 14. Probably the stupidest thing I ever did. That was the one sport that I was good at because I could throw the hell out of a baseball. My dad didn't push me even though he was constantly getting calls from all of the various local coaches (high school, American Legion, etc.) to get me to play. At all other aspects of baseball I was really mediocre, so the DH rule was made for someone like me.

As for cycling screw-ups I would say that over the years I have tried to be frugal, but that was not the most economical way to go. Spend the extra $'s and get what you really need the first time. It is cheaper that way in the long run.
