As a photographer I like Canon's lens set.
However, I have fallen in love with the camera on my iPhone.

Usually I hate point & shoots and phone cameras with all I hold holy.
This one is pretty good though.

There are also a few free apps out there like, Evernote, which will upload your images and notes automatically to a website.
Some will even geographically stamp where the images. Click on it and it opens Google Maps to the location of where the image was taken.
Camera, GPS, phone, internet, weather, etc., all rolled into one.
Hard combo to beat when traveling light.
No need to have to worry about memory cards and the like.
