Are you quite certain that whatever the winner's bid was his/her highest bid? What if that person had put in a bazillion dollar bid, you still would have lost by a few bucks.
I am in agreement with whoever(s) said get it new. I'm poor too, but I scrounged up whatever it took to get the Ti frame of my dreams. Bikes of dreams are custom made (or should be), IMO.
