People buy everything on eBay. Don't you have any other stuff to sell? It's often the small things: cables, adapters small parts, old clothes. You may be able to rise $300 from those.
On a side note, I was an avid PC gamer, and I sold my super-duper gaming computer in November and made a resolution not to play games. I play some puzzle games and a train simulator, but I was spending way too much time with shooters. So I might say, yeah get rid of the games and the system, but I don't know how much of a gamer you are. If you end up regretting it, you may wanna look into alternatives.
