I'm 99% sure. I bought it in about 1978, so it must have been a '77 or '78. The bike that it replaced was 26". The SJ10 had 27 x 1-1/4 tires. Two years later, I sold the SJ10 to my only-slightly-shorter friend down the street, and bought the Windsor Carrera Sport that I still have. My friend and I rode together a lot. The Windsor had a 25" frame, to the SJ10's 23" (or maybe 21") frame. The Windsor had 1-1/18" tires.

When I had the Fuji, I remember I was the only kid in town with a 27" bike. Everyone else had 26" department store bikes.

The catalog you link to doesn't give the specs for the '78 (unless I missed it). Maybe they changed to 26" later?

My bike was cream colored.

By the way, check this out. Someone's trying to sell an SJ10 for $500...

EDIT

Stop the presses. Maybe the one I had was a Sports 10...

And on the '78 catalog's Sports 10 page, the SJ10 the seems to be the 18-1/2"-framed, 26" version of the Sports 10

Mystery solved. A minor mystery, admittedly.
