I only brought up Lexus because that's how much nicer the Prius was than the Insight. Night and day. Insight felt cheap, ride was rough, car was disappointing. Prius had a far more elegant interior, refined ride, drive, control surfaces, everything. No comparison in my view. The Prius is well worth the $3000 premium (I think that's about the price difference). If I buy a hybrid, that's the car.
