I've ridden this tire and found it to develop fatal cuts easily. As someone else noted, this is the trade off for a very nice ride. I think the soft casing upon which the tread is glued makes for the smooth ride, but once a cut goes through the tread you are SOL.

After riding most of the Vittoria open tubulars, I am more than happy with the Michelin Pro Race3. The grip is incredible. I can take corners at higher speeds than with Vittorias without feeling like the tire is losing traction.
