That's how it is up here in OR. The maiden "voyage" of my new ride a while back was cut short at 4 miles because the bead of my new tire wouldn't hold. I must have had 20+ offers of assistance on my walk back home (4 mi in SPD SL cleats). Very friendly people up here.
